This Privacy Policy ("Policy")of Aerem Solutions Private Limited (“Aerem”) has been created to comply with the legal requirement under the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000 applicable provisions of Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023and amendments thereto that require intermediaries to publish the rules and regulations, privacy policy and terms for access or usage of their website/mobile app and is primarily governed by Rule 3 (1) of the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 or other agencies and other applicable regulations.
Aerem Solutions Private Limited collects, uses,discloses and transfers personal information of users through its websites,mobile applications, digital applications, platform or, and online & offline services (herein collectively referred to as “Company”,"App", “Platform”, “We”,” Website”, “Us” or “Our”). This policy applies to all the existing and prospective customers who visit us or with whom we interact, including visitors to our Website, service providers/receivers orother suppliers and others who interact with whether via our website or bycorresponding with us or by other means (hereinafter collectively referred toas "Users"). - Information relating to logs is automatically reported by the User's browser when the User accesses a web page. Aerem's servers may automatically record certain information that the User's browser redirects whenever the User visits any website. The server logs may include information such as the User's web request, browser type, referring/ exit pages and URLs, Internet Protocol (IP) address, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, and other such information. Aerem uses this information, which does not identify users, to analyze administer the Website trends, gather demographic data, track users' movements around the website, and track users' movements around the website about the User Base. Aerem does not link this automatically collected data to personally identifiable information.

Aeremmay collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever theyuse Website. - Solar Asset Information
Our App is designed to help User monitor and maintain the health of User solar assets. To achieve this, we collect detailed data about User solar installations. This includes comprehensive performan cemetrics that give you insights into how efficiently your solar asset are operating. We track and store energy production data, allowing User to see how much power User system is generating over time. This information can help User identify trends, optimize User energy usage, and spot potential issues early.Additionally, we maintain records of all maintenance activities performed on Usersolar assets. This maintenance history is crucial for tracking the upkeep of User System, scheduling future maintenance, and ensuring User solar installation continues to operate at peak efficiency.
- Technical Information
To ensure the stability and reliability of the App, we collect technical data related to its performance. This includes error logs and crash reports, which are invaluable for our development team in identifying and resolving any issues that may arise. These logs help us understand the circumstances under which problems occur, allowing us to quickly develop and deploy fixes. We also trackthe app version you're using and maintain a history of updates. This information is crucial for our support team when assisting you with any problems, as different versions may have different features or known issues. By monitoring this technical data, we can proactively address potential problems,ensure smooth performance across all devices, and continually improve the stability and functionality of the App.
Sharing of Information
Aeremmay share User information, including the bureau reports, with its serviceproviders, affiliate(s), agents, partners and such other third parties for

The data transferred is fully anonymized so it can no longer be associated with any individual.
Hereby expressly declared that Aerem should not be responsible for using the information by such third parties and service partners and their policies.
Protecting Your Privacy and Information
Aerem adopts appropriate data collections, storage models and security measures to protect against alteration, unauthorized access, disclosure of User personal information, security credentials, transaction information and data stored on our Website. We use secure SSL encryption for the exchange of all the sensitive and private data between the Website and its Users.
Upon specific request, we will remove/block User personally identifiable information from our database, leading to cancelling the registration. However, the information may remain stored in archive on the servers even after the deletion or the termination of the account.
Aerem will take appropriate steps to protect User privacy concerning the use of our Website. The Website may provide links to third party sites. Since we do not control such linked sites, we encourage User to review thethird-party sites' privacy policies.
Correctness of Information
User hereby represent to Aerem that:
- User are required to ensure that all information provided to Aerem is authentic, correct, current, and up-to-date. User must possess all necessary rights, permissions, and consents to provide such information to Aerem. The information you provide must not violate any third-party agreements, laws, charter documents, judgments, orders, or decrees
- Aerem, its employees, directors, contractors,and agents disclaim responsibility for verifying the authenticity of the information you provide
- Inthe event of any breach of this Privacy Policy on User part, you shall beobligated to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Aerem, its contractors,agents, and any third parties who rely on the information User have provided.
Restriction as to sharing of information by Users
- Users of this website may share contents or information, reviews, comments, send communications; and submit suggestions, ideas, comments, questions or other details, as long as the content is not illegal, obscene, abusive, threatening,defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing of intellectual property rights of others or otherwise injurious to third parties, or objectionable and does not consist of or contain software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings, or any form of “spam".

Control App Permissions and collections after download
AfterUser download an App, the App must ask for permission to access certain data.If an App collects data User don’t want to share, User can:
- Change App permissions for a single app or by permission type in your phone's settings.
- LetUser phone automatically remove permissions for unused Apps.
- Delete Apps to stop future data collection.
Use of Cookies
Aerem collects certain information from the User's browser using small data files called cookies. Aerem uses session ID cookies to confirm that User are logged in. This type of cookie helps Aerem recognizes a User if they visit multiple pages on the site during the same session so that separate passwords are not required to access each time. Cookies will be terminated once the User closes the browser. By default, to make it easier for the customer when returning to the Website, Aerem may use a persistent cookie that stores User login ID (but no password). Aerem encodes its cookies so that only Aerem can interpret the information stored in them. The User has an option may remove or block this cookie using the User's browser settings to disable the feature.
Aerem's Privacy Policy does not cover the use of cookies by its partners and affiliates. Aerem does not have access or control over these cookies. Aerem's partners and affiliates may use session ID cookies to provide a custom user experience and to track the success of Aerem's partnership with them.
Session Data
Aerem automatically logs generic information about User device's connection to theInternet, which we call session data. The Session data is anonymous and not linked to any personal information. This data consists of information such as the operating system, IP address, type of browser, software used and the activities conducted on our Website. An Internet Protocol address is a number that lets the device attached to the Internet know where to send the data back to the User wishes to view.
Aerem may collect session data as it helps to analyse things such as the links visitors are most likely to click, how visitors click on the preferences, the time spent by the User on the Website etc. It will help us diagnose any problems with our servers and allow us to upgrade our systems.Although this information does not identify any visitor personally, it is possible to determine from an IP address a visitor's Internet Service Provider(ISP) and the approximate geographic location of their point of connectivity.
We may use third-party mobile analytics software to better understand how users interact with our mobile Apps. This software may record information such as how often user use the App, the events that occur within the App, aggregated usage data, performance data, and crash reports.This data does not identify you personally.
Any personal information or content like comments, photos, videos etc. that you voluntarily make public or share with others on our platforms may be viewed and used by others without any restrictions. We advise caution before sharing sensitive personal information publicly.

Sometimes Appsmay redirect User to a different service to complete a certain action. In these cases, the App developer does not need to declare the data collected by the other service if:
- The App does not access this information, and
- You provide this information directly to the other service under that service’s privacy policy and terms of service
Business Transfers
As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy other businesses or services. In such transactions, User information generally is one of the transferred business assets but remains subject to the promises made in anypre-existing Privacy Policy (unless, of course, the customer consents otherwise). Also, in the unlikely event that company or any of its affiliates,or substantially all of their assets are acquired, User information will ofcourse be one of the transferred assets.
Data Retention
User Personal Information will not be retained by us any longer than, necessary for the purposes for which the Personal Information is processed and/or in accordance with legal, regulatory, contractual or statutory obligations as applicable. We have defined a record retention period for Information as Six (06)years from the date of last processing of Information. At the expiry of such periods, Personal Information will be deleted or archived in compliance with applicable laws. All physical data will be disposed of by shredding or otherwise making unreadable confidential records in accordance with applicable laws. All electronic data will be disposed in a responsible manner and in compliance with applicable laws with prior approval from CTO/CISO (as applicable).
Changes to Privacy Policy
Aerem reserve the right to modify or amend theterms of our Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" information at the top of the Policy indicates the most recent modifications were made to the Policy.
Aerem will endeavour to post any changes to this Privacy Policy on our webpage or sending a push notification to inform you about new features of the App or an important security update. While Aerem will make reasonable efforts to keep posted on any updates to this Policy, we also recommend reviewing the Policy Periodically to make sure that Customer are aware of any changes.

Applicable Laws
This Policy shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of India, and subject to the provisions of arbitration set out herein, the courts at Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction concerning any disputes arising out of or in connection with this policy.
If a dispute arises between Aerem and the User regarding the validity,interpretation, implementation, or alleged breach of any provision of thePolicy, the dispute shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in accordance with the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, which rules are deemed to be incorporated by reference in this clause.
There shall be one (1) arbitrator, and the seat of the arbitration shall be Mumbai,India.
The language of the arbitration proceedings and all written decisions and correspondence relating to the arbitration shall be English.
